UPCOMING COMPETITIONS:

Springbucks Gymnastics Club Annual Championships – Floor and Vault Competition 2026

This is a friendly and relaxed in house competition that we run once a year for all gymnasts that attend our weekly sessions. It is a great chance for our gymnasts to experience competition within their sport but in an encouraging and nurturing environment. All gymnasts in school years 1 and above will be learning a competition floor routine through the summer term as part of their ongoing training.

Date: Sunday 7th June, 2026

Venue: Hazlemere Youth Centre, Rose Avenue, Hazlemere HP15 7UB

COMPETITION TIMES

Please register for your round by the table outside the hall as you arrive (no more than 10 minutes before the start of your round) and double check your child’s details. You only need to stay for your gymnasts round as there is a medal ceremony at the end of each round.

ROUND 1 – 8.30am – 10am: Year 1 & 2 (Recreational)

ROUND 2 – 10am – 11.30am: Year 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 (Recreational)

ROUND 3 – 11.30am – 1pm: Years 1 & 2 and Years 5, 6 & 7 (Squad)

ROUND 4 – 1.30pm – 3.30pm: Years 3 & 4 and Level 8 gymnasts (Squad)

WHAT TO WEAR:

Boys need to wear shorts and a Springbucks T-shirt, girls can wear a leotard and shorts, or shorts and a Springbucks T-shirt. All shorts must be above the knee so that the judges can check properly for straight legs during performance.

No leggings or crop tops please!

PHOTOGRAPHY:

No flash photograph allowed during the competition as too many flashes distracts the gymnasts, you may use your flash during the medals ceremony or ask them to pose for a photograph at the end. We also would ask that you do not post any photographs that may have other children in them on the web, even if those children are just in the background of the shot and do not include any children’s names in photos that you may post.
